Optional in-site booking and card payment via Stripe is planned. When it arrives, it will charge only a small per-booking fee — never a monthly subscription.

Questions
How much does it cost to join or hire?
Nothing. Listing a profile, posting a job, and messaging are all free, and 2ndShooter takes no commission. You and the shooter agree on a rate and pay each other directly.
How do payments work?
For now, directly between you and the shooter — cash, Venmo, Zelle, or whatever you both prefer. In-site booking and card payments (through Stripe) are planned for later and will stay optional.
Who can register as a second shooter?
2ndShooter is built for Indian photographers and videographers with their own gear who want second-shooter work at Indian celebrations — from experienced wedding seconds to talented newcomers building a portfolio. Your profile shows your real experience and gear, so clients can choose with confidence.
Can I book someone for just 1–2 hours?
Yes — that's exactly what this directory is for. Half-saree ceremonies, saree parties, birthdays, and similar events often need only an hour or two of coverage, and shooters here set hourly rates with that in mind.

Why does the directory still look new?
We just opened registration to Indian photographers and videographers, and founding profiles appear as shooters join. There are no placeholder or example profiles — every listing here is a real shooter.
